Electrical safety

The controller is intended for installation inside an electrical panel. Installation, wiring and commissioning must follow the product documentation and the rules applicable to the installation.

Qualified installation

Installation and wiring must be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with the applicable installation rules.

Work de-energized

Disconnect every relevant supply before wiring and verify that the circuits are de-energized.

Power and protection

Use a suitable 12–24 V DC supply, observe polarity, and provide the protections specified in the installation documentation.

Loads and safeguards

Dimension and protect relay circuits for the connected loads. switchButler IoT does not replace mandatory electrical, thermal or functional safety devices.
